In April 2014 the Italian Aerospace Network met the Northwestern Polytechnic University in order to discuss about a Sino-Italian cooperation in the field of training and growing talents internationally.

Xi’An Aeronautical University, originally named Xi’An Aero–Industry School, was founded in 1956 under the guidance of the former Air Ministry.

Over the past five decades, the university has transported over 50,000 talents to meet the demands of Aero—Industry development. The university participates actively in academic exchanges and has established vocational academic relations with universities and research institutions domestic and abroad.
